ON THE EDGE was formed in 2008, when I decided to focus more on what makes me happy in life - working with my hands.   I specialize in hand sharpening kitchen knives.  I also sharpen scissors, including dog grooming shears, hair salon scissors.  My tools include a whet stone, ceramics and different types of polishing stones.

I offer local pick up and delivery.   Special arrangements can be made to sharpen  onsite . 

Knife sharpening rates:

$1.50/inch of blade for first time sharpening

$1.00/inch for repeat knives

References available upon request.
